LK's Birthday Bash

A little baby bird paid us a visit...Jason was home to take a few quick shots.Maximus has enjoyed terrorizing the birds that nest in our yard and we are crossing our fingers that this little guy stays safe and sound as he wanders about.

Sunday afternoon...
A day full of bad weather cleared up just long enough for us to enjoy a Mother's Day picnic at the Angel Oak - a tree that's over 1500 years old, stands over 65 feet high, and canopies over 17,000 square feet of ground.
We didn't get any pictures of our yummy lunch since we ate it up in such a flash,
